Outsole: Shock absorbing EVA midsole injected with sugar cane. Long wearing, non-marking rubber outsole.

Shoes Not Marked as Machine Washable:
To maintain the quality of your purchase of our shoes, we do not recommend machine washing. We suggest the following steps for any minor cleaning to our shoes:
1. Remove excess dirt from the upper and outsole by using a small, soft brush or towel.
2. Create a soapy mixture by combining warm water and a small amount (a few drops) laundry detergent.
3. Dip the brush or cloth into the soapy mixture. Wipe down the affected area. Apply a small amount of clean, warm water with the brush or cloth and brush/wipe off the excess soap.
4. Allow shoes to air dry.
Can you wash green® insoles? Our insoles can be washed by hand and shouldn't be washed in the machine. We find that hand-washing will help preserve their longevity.
For hand-washing, we typically suggest applying a small amount of gentle detergent to the top part of the insole. You can rinse the detergent off in lukewarm or cold water. To target the odor of the insoles, we recommend putting a few drops of tea tree or eucalyptus oil and a bit of gentle detergent in a bowl of lukewarm water. You can then wet the tops of the insoles with this oil and water mixture. Rinse with lukewarm or cold water.
And last, but certainly not least, be sure to let the insoles air dry!
Care Instructions
Cleaning
After you’ve worn your greenReActives® out in the world, you might bring some of that world back inside with you. Easy fix.
To start, wipe down your shoes with a dry paper towel to clean off any mud or dirt that stuck to them.
Fabric Uppers & Laces
After you wipe down the uppers, you can make a simple cleaning solution to wash them. Mix one teaspoon of a mild dish detergent with 2 cups of warm water. Dip a paper towel into the mix and wing it out, then wipe the fabric part of your shoes with it. Then do the the same to the soles of your shoes.
To rinse them, just dip a paper towel into clean water, ring it out, and wipe off any traces of soap.
Finally, use another dry paper towel to pat them dry.
Laces can be cleaned the same way.
Caring for suede
First, make sure your shoes are completely dry. Then, using a suede brush, gently brush away dirt with small, circular motions. You can get rid of some stains by brushing against the direction of the nap (the grain of the suede), then finish by going over the area again, this time brushing in the direction of the nap.
Storage
When you can bear to be separated from them, keep your ReActives in a dry place, at room temperature. Try to store them out of direct sunlight.
